MicruX Technologies develops miniaturised, fully portable and automated analysis systems. Thus, Lab-on-a-Chip (LOC) technologies based on microfluidics and electrochemical sensors allow the integration of all the stages that are usually performed in a laboratory (sample pretreatment, mixing, reaction, separation and detection) in a single device.
These miniaturised devices allow the separation, detection, identification and quantification of compounds of analytical interest in real samples. These new devices are useful at research and industrial level for the development of applications in the agri-food, environmental or health sectors.
Therefore, MicruX Technologies is an expert in microfluidic systems and electrochemical detection systems, especially designed for research and teaching activities.
In the field of microfluidics, MicruX has extensive experience in the development, production and use of microelectrophoresis (EM) chips. In addition, our extensive knowledge in electrochemistry allows us to easily and efficiently design and couple a fully miniaturised detection system based on electrochemical sensors.
MicruX also develops a new generation of analytical instrumentation to facilitate the use of microfluidic and electrochemical devices.
Moreover, MicruX has also acquired extensive knowledge for the development of applications in the agri-food, environmental and clinical fields using microfluidic systems and electrochemical sensors.
