History

FRUTIGER – The road to becoming the world market leader

1957 – Edwin Frutiger founded the first company of the FRUTIGER Group in Switzerland under the name E. Frutiger + Co. – a problem-solver in the construction and environmental sector.
The import of niche products and the development of our own innovative product lines contributed to steady growth.

Milestones in the company history:

Import of the first scrapedozer into Switzerland.

Company relocation from Zurich to Winterthur.

Edwin Frutiger’s first trip to Japan.

First Japanese scrapedozer imported into Switzerland.
